Public Hearing on Rules Regarding the Importation, Possession and Exhibition of Wildlife and Nongame Reptiles

CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will hold a public hearing on proposed rule changes on April 3, 2007, at 6:30 p.m., at Fish and Game headquarters, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, N.H., regarding the importation, possession, propagation, and exhibition of all wildlife. The hearing will also cover new proposed rules prohibiting the taking and possession of certain nongame reptile species.

The proposed rules would affect those who wish to import, possess, release, propagate or exhibit wildlife, including persons operating inland or marine aquaculture operations or regulated shooting areas; or possessing wildlife under an individual training and shooting permit.
